Keeping Families in Their Homes at The Waterfront Project

At The Waterfront Project, Inc., our Eviction Defense Program is at the heart of our mission to prevent homelessness and protect tenants’ rights. In Northern New Jersey, where rising rents and housing insecurity disproportionately affect low-income families, our attorneys and housing counselors work tirelessly to ensure no one is unfairly displaced from their home.

At The Waterfront Project, Inc., we believe no one should lose their home due to financial hardship. Our Foreclosure Prevention Program supports homeowners in Northern New Jersey facing the devastating threat of foreclosure, offering free legal aid, housing counseling, and resource navigation to help families remain secure.
