In this domestic violence case, we successfully obtained a Final Restraining Order protecting our client from her former partner, whom the court found had assaulted her on multiple occasions, resulting in “horrific injuries.”  The order prohibits our client’s abuser from having any contact with her, bars him from visiting her home and place of employment, as well as the home of her parents, and grants our client physical custody of their daughter.

The Waterfront Project addresses a critical gap in our community: the lack of comprehensive legal support and outreach for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. These survivors often face complex legal challenges without access to necessary resources.

Through workshops, legal representation, and community outreach, The Waterfront Project empowers survivors, fostering a safer environment.

Join us in our mission to empower survivors and foster a safer community.
